My name is Slater! I am being called Slayton in my video because the person making the video got my name mixed up with my buddy. I am 9 months old and way 23 lb. I am 15 in tall at the shoulder.(8/6). I am fostered in Danbury, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. I came to the rescue from a high kill shelter. I'm not really sure why I ended up in the shelter to start with. I am a sweet, very loving boy! I am smart and learn quickly. I get along well with other dogs of all ages and sizes and really like playing with them. I also love playing with my people and spending time with them. I love to be petted and loved on! I ride well in the car and will load right up into my crate. I walk on a leash, but In my video I was keeping an eye on my foster mom. I have really bonded with her. I'm good with children and men also though. I am very friendly and have a submissive temperament. I have a happy, easy going personality. I have a medium energy level. I only bark when the other dogs are barking. I'm a great little dog and I am perfect apartment size! I am a great little companion and I am eager to find my new forever home!
