My name is Copper! I am approximately 7 months old and I weigh approximately 30 lbs. (3/12). I and fostered in Mount Airy, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. I and neutered and heartworm negative. My vaccines are up to date. I was dropped off on a family's front porch come but they could not keep me. They had two toddlers under the age of 2 years old so they were too busy to add me as part of the family. I loved the children though and did great with them! I'm also good with other dogs and cats. I am well behaved in the house. I don't get on the furniture unless I'm invited to do so. I did not chew up any of their furniture even though I'm only 7 months old. I am used to sleeping in a crate at night and I'm not a big barker. I greet strangers with a wagging tail. I ride well in the car, staying on floorboard. I am leash trained and house trained. I have a medium energy level and I enjoy being outside. I also love being in the house with my people though. I have lots of love to give, I just need a family to give it to! I'm ready and waiting to go to my new forever home.
