My name is Charlie! I am 1 year old. I'm being surrendered to the rescue because my owner is going off the college. I am fostered in Danbury, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. I am crate trained and house trained. I'm good with the other dogs and I love playing with them and playing in water. I'm great with cats and children. I have been raised around lots of children, with the youngest being 2 years old. When I have had enough of being climbed on, I just get up and walk away. I have also been raised around children with autism/ADHD I am great with them and I tend to check on them more often. I follow my people around the house and I follow the kids around the yard. I walk well on a leash and I ride well in the car. Sometimes I am shy of strangers and will behind my owners legs. I warm up pretty quickly though. I have a happy disposition and I'm really calm and laid back. I am ready and waiting to go to my new forever home! I'm hoping for another home with lots of kids and/or a puppy playmate!
