My name is Baxter! I weigh 35-40 lbs. and I am 10 - 11 months old (1/13). I was turned into the local County Animal Shelter with my sister, by our previous owner. I don't really know why because I am so sweet! I am fostered in Mount Airy, NC but easy affordable transportation is available. I love attention and being petted. I am smart and I have very happy dispositions - my tail wags almost constantly! I enjoy playing with other dogs, toys, and of course, people. I get really excited when I see my foster coming back after being gone. I love everybody and I expect everybody to love me! I will need daily exercise. I would be great for an active family or someone to take nice long walks with. I will need some leash work because I have a tendency to pull when I see something that really interests me. I am working on house training. I have plenty of love to give, and I just need a family to give it to! I am ready and waiting to go to my new home.
